Sydney Presbytery Camping Program (SPCP), formerly the Mira Pines Program, is an outdoor recreational and educational centre for Sydney Presbytery of the United Church of Canada. With a focus on learning about the Christian faith, it also incorporates healthy lifestyles and lots of fun in its programs.
SPCP is a series of week-long camps catering to different age groups, allowing everyone to have an opportunity to be a part of it! During these week-long camps, you will swim, canoe, learn fun new games and sing your heart out every night at a campfire. You will also enjoy being a part of cabin groups.
You will learn the art of bracelet making, enjoy new songs and games and learn about the environment. With Christ as the focus, Sydney Presbytery camping programs exist to offer a safe, nature-oriented camping experience to all campers. It is located in Homeville, Nova Scotia, at the Holmstead Memorial Camp site, 4241 Port Morien Dr. Overnight camps run from July 4th - July 30th. To register online click on "Registration Form."
